HOME ENERGY ASSESSMENTS
Why get an assessment?
1. Learn about your home’s energy use
All homes are different. Learn about yours and identify the most cost-effective ways to save money and improve comfort
2. Safety
Analysts will test for air quality as well as gas leaks
3. Free direct installs
While there, the analyst can install upgrades such as LED’s, weatherstripping, water heater blankets, and pipe insulation at no cost to you.
4. Rebates
After the assessment, you can unlock up to $2,000 in rebates towards weatherization and $2,000 toward electrification - Learn more (link)
5. Help the environment
Assessments help you identify and prioritize energy upgrades that will reduce emissions.
A 3-4 hour assessment includes:
Inspecting for air leaks in the foundation, walls, windows, and doors
Assessing insulation in attics, basements, and crawl spaces
