4CORE manages Energy Smart Colorado, which provides FREE home energy assessments as well as generous rebates for weatherization and electrification projects.
Energy Smart Colorado at 4CORE
Transform your home or business with 4CORE's Energy Smart Colorado program, designed to enhance energy efficiency and reduce utility costs.
We offer comprehensive home energy assessments to identify improvements like air sealing, insulation, efficient appliances, and more. Our program connects you with local contractors and provides access to rebates and financing options, making it easy and affordable to upgrade your energy systems.

Take the First Step Toward Energy Savings with Energy Smart Colorado
Start your journey to energy efficiency with 4CORE’s Energy Smart Colorado program. Here’s how it works:
1) Get a Home or Business Energy Assessment
Our Energy Analysts will assess your home or business to identify energy-saving opportunities. This assessment includes:
A blower test and infrared photo analysis to analyze leakage in the home.
Combustion safety analysis- boiler or furnace check to assess the risk of carbon monoxide.
Gas line leak detection- gas line check for leaks inside and outside of the home.
2) Get a Complete Energy Report
Your analyst will provide a comprehensive report outlining the energy efficiency upgrades that would be most beneficial to your home. The report includes detailed photos of the areas discussed and specific recommendations for upgrades in order of importance/priority.
3) Apply for Rebates or Financing
We’ll help you secure rebates and financing to make your home more efficient and comfortable. The Home Energy Assessment is typically valued at $550, but is subsidized by 4CORE and our utility partners, making it FREE for all Atmos customers and households earning under 150% Area Median Income. The cost for all others is only $50.
Through partnership with the City of Durango, all city residents, regardless of income get a FREE audit.
Business energy assessments are also available through Energy Smart Colorado. Typically valued starting at $1,500, they are FREE for all Atmos customers.

LPEA offers low-interest, on-bill financing for energy efficiency, renewable energy, and beneficial electrification projects.
